yes 1/2" ARP head studs with $90 per side Cometic "MLS" metal head gaskets.

She's not gonna be blowing headgaskets.
It'll bend a rod before it blows an HG, lol.

I've got forged Scat rods, hopefully they don't bend.

I probably don't need head studs, but I would rather have them and not need then need them and not have them.

Still trying to get the 10,000 small details wrapped up.

Got the Coldside welded and started polishing it up and
loosely mocked up the BOV just above the coil packs.

Turbo blankets came and look kickass. $110 ebay special.

Also picked up $30 GM boost control solenoid today.
Opens all kinds of cool boost control options thru the AEM.

For sure will have a flip switch on the dash that will instantly take me
from 8-10psi at 600rwhp to 15-16psi and 725+rwhp. Very cool.

May sound like a dumb question but what about the alternator??? assuming that this will be a street car.

It goes in stock location, just not mounted right now.
alternator, A/C and Moroso crank case Vac. pump all fit fine.

Still have plans to custom mount a power steering pump in there someday too.
Should fit where old smog pump was.

Will have complete accessories.
Air Conditioning, Power Steering, 3G alternator and Crank-case Vac pump by the time I'm done.

Few more details done worth showing.

Got the new intercooler bumper holes edged out with vac hose.
Almost looks factory.

"High/Low" boost switch installed with indicator light.
When switched into "High" mode the little red light in upper right corner will come on too.

I think the best part of this whole buildup is the fact there is an 80mph gauge in the dash You should definitely keep it.
