i was wondering if anyone knew anything about water/methanol injection on a supercharged motor.Would it be worth it to add it to my car?

 

i picked up 40RWHP adding it to my car. i've since then upgraded to a 3 core. definitely worth it for a cheap intercooler.

 

how often would i have to refill it and would it be worth it adding it to a daily driver.

 

depends on your foot. i went weeks at a time without having to touch it.

 

If you are on the boost all the time...you will go through the Meth pretty quick....if you drive the car normal and only hit the boost occasionally it might last until you need to fill the gas tank up....

IMO it is a pain in the *** for a DD...

works great for me...but mine is a weekend toy

 

Yeah i go througha bottle of wiper fluid like once every 2 weeks. i dont care though, its only a couple bucks for a gallon from walmart. (wiper fluid, cheap and it works)

 

It's really good if you have a tuner that knows how to tune for it, and if you fill it up every chance you get. I top mine off every time I fill the gas tank, so once every 150miles or so.

Personally, I think it's very worth it, as long as you do it safely. I added the J&S safeguard to it which reduces timing if it senses that it's out of methanol, but I will soon be adding a FMIC to replace it, because I don't want to risk it failing on me. I think depending on how much you're running, you should probably be okay, as long as your tuner doesn't put you on the ragged edge of safety. There's a sticky on the top of the page about it, it probably has more information than I or any one of the other members could give you personally, other than a word of mouth reccomendation
