Started N20 install - have questions...
I. Slack in N20 line
Well, I started my N20 install on on my '04 GT today
... I ran the line down the right side of the trunk on the most forward outlet, the N20 line went through the subframe then popped out and I ran it all the way to the front. I am concerned b/c there is a 1-2 ft section where I don't have where to zip tie the line, so it's just "hanging" there[:@]. I took a couple pics with my Cell and need some suggestions or is this how people are running it?
I picked up the slack a bit since I took these pics, but there is nothing keeping it, I think, from not slacking any further.
II. Teflon or not teflon?
My NOS instructions indicate to use teflon on the inlet port of the N20 soleniod but not on the outtlet port... WTF? I can follow instructions as they are written black and white , but why doesn't the instructions indicate to use teflon sealer on all connections??
III. NOS bring no hardware??
Ok, I had to make one trip to the hardware store to pick up sheetmetal screws to mount the bottle . Now, I go mount the solenoids and the kit doesn't include the hardware to mount them to the car either.... While the instructions are pretty clear, I am not happy with the "minor" issues. ... Argggg, another trip to the hardware store
.... Any heads up on what else I'll need?, LOL..

I) use an insulated tube strap and just zip a self tapper into the floor where it seems safe
II) you can use teflon PASTE where there are pipe threads... no need for anything where there is a AN flare connection. teflon tape can bust up and clog a selonoid, never use tape anywhere in the system fuel or nitrous.
III) an assortment of self tappers, some extra wiring connectors (feel free to use some quick disconnects for later ease of removal for whatever reason)or if your confident, solder the connections.
but that should be it.

Thanks for the response.
I. Simple enough.
II. I guess I am stubborn. Why not on the AN side? What happens if you do
(I did already, stubborn me figures the "detalied NOS instructions "forgot" about the threadlock on the an side :rolleyes ... LOL)... Is that you you need thread lock on the inlet side and not the out side (an)?
III. Guess I'll make a trip to Radio Shack or something at lunch Tues and pick up a bunch of electrical connectors...
p.s. It's amazing how many little sh.itI used to take for granted when I had a garage in the house; I had all the little sh.ityou need; now living in a condo it makes keeping all the little nick-nacks more challenging, <G> I didn't know I had to "edit" the S word for crap in a car forum (rolleyes)....

An is tapered at the end and seals itself. I would just cean off the teflon of those. I ran my line just like you and just zip tied the **** out of it everywhere I could.
