I have that switch as well and all that the tech at MSD said was that it wasn't to be connected to anything on my car (2006 4.0).

Default RE: MSD WINDOW SWITCH QUESTION

figured it, i was using micro. What was happening was i had MSD set for 8cyl, the car has cop's so it must be set at as 1 cylinder. now i feel stupid. i realized it was a tach issue after i tried using the normally closed output and reversing on/off rpms, when i did that and using a test light to power i realized it was a very sporadic ground. So i knew the rpm at the msd wasnt right. I thought it was working cause RPMS read 1 at idle, and 2 at light throttle, i thought it was x1000. oh well live and learn. havent sprayed yet but im excited to!
