N20 with full boltons/cams
Hey fellas, I have a question about running some spray in my 03 GT. I have full boltons and cams with 292rwhp. Basically my next step to making any more power with the motor is heads and digging into the bottom end, which im not quite ready to do. So I was figuring in the meantime Id throw a bottle on it, but im not quite sure how much I can get away with. I know that with a stock motor guys are running anywhere from a 100 to a 150 shot, but being as im making more power on the motor, am i limited? Ive heard that I can take another 100rwhp safely, but I just wanted to run it by you guys that had some N20 experience. Thanks.

Let me know how it goes because I will be purchasing a Zex nitrous system next month. By next may I intend on buying a set of patriot stage III heads. Since I bought a truck this car has become a hobby to me now. My goal is to get in to the 12's or maybe even high 11's. What mods do you have? I'm curious to see what my rwhp is now.

Ive only been to the track one time with it which was also my first time racing ever. I went 13.6@103 with street tires and a 2.0 60ft. My tuner has a lot of experience with Mustangs and he said with a good launch and dr's it is a 12.40-12.50s car. So well see...

upgrade your fuel pump, 1 step colder plugs (i use NGK plugs) ALWAYS USE HIGHEST OCTANE PUMP GAS YOU CAN, pull 2-4* of timing, use a wet kit, dont spray below 3000rpm, and id go with a 100shot.
i dont know alot about the 4.6's, but if your making 292hp and 308trq, id guess youll make 390hp and prob 430-480trq on the juice
so as far as "can your motor take it" id be more worryed about your clutch.

i have all the same boltons you have except i have stage 1 n/a cams and at the time i didnt have my 75mm t/b or upper intake and pullies if i remember correctly i made 275rwhp and 298ft lbs tq. i threw on a nx plate kit 100shot and it has been fine. no problems so far. with the nitrous i made 370rwhp and 420ft lbs tq. i cant remember the exact numbers but im pretty sure thats what it was. spray it and have some fun. you will be ok. I also upgraded to 30lb injectors and a focus fuel pump.
