Default 5.0 stock bottom end

hey guys im gunna start piecing together a 70mm turbo kit for my stock 5.0. im also swaping the motor out of a 87 GT and into a 88 lx

my buddy is telling me to up the injectors with a ported E7 heads F cam from ford with the stock bottom end. should i put in at forged rotating assembly while i have the motor out? i plan on putting a main girdle and windage tray on it neway

How much boost are you planning to run? If your planning to keep it at 500 rwhp or less then I would put a forged assembly in it. If your plans are to go more than that I would save for a good block to do the build with. A stock block will literally break in half. You want to get a cam custom ground for your setup. Just call Comp and tell them what you have and what your plans are. Go with 60 lb injectors or you'll regret it later on down the road.
