Default Header bolts

How often should you check the bolts for adjustment?

I wouldnt think you would need to check them all that often unless you dont think they are on tight enuff. IF they are not on tight enuff your header will be completly sealed to you heads and it will leak and burn out your gasket or O-rings (which ever you have). I had it happen to me. When they were installed...two got left off and it caused a leak. But i dont think you need to obsess over them too much. You prolly need to check you fluids more often than your bolts.

If your that worried about it you can get the ones with the locking ring on them and atleast they wont fall off as easy.I had one of mine fall out the other day and just checked them all while I was at it and they all were loose.

I talk to a guy in a shop about getting the locking bolts and he ask me 400 for changing the bolts. Thats f***ing crazy, how hard is to check the bolts yourself?
