So, I have a stock (SLP Loudmouths) 05 GT manual, and have decided (I think) to get the Vortech w/Intercooler (I can get it for $4000 delivered, is that a good price?).

1st off, what else should I change if I get the SC, or is it just bolt on and that's the only mod? (No thermostat change, yadda yadda yadda). It already comes with a new fuel pump and injectors, so what else is there really to change? Also, how much can I expect to be raped for istallation at a local speed shop? Also, should I go with the tune that comes with it, or pay for a custom tune? Any insight on this process would be appreciated!!!

I think that the custom tune would be worth it, esp. on the 05's.

 

Custom tune is a must. I was quoted all sorts of install prices, from a low of $600 to a high of $1200. Tune not included.
