Default Will V2 SQ trim be enough?

Well here is what I currently have:

97 GT block bored .20
forged internals (9.5:1)
MMR stage 3 PI heads
CMS stage 3 blower cams
edelbrock port matched victor jr manifold
10% od pulley
complete 8 rib setup
Vortech V2 SQ trim
Paxton fmic
power pipe
bolt ons
This is through built auto w/ high stall converter too

I was originally going to go right for the T trim upgrade..but do you think with enough boost and the right pulley size I can hit atleast 500rwhp with my SQ trim? If so, what 8 rib pulley size blower pulley should I be looking at? I have read that the SQ trim pretty much reaches its peak at about 16psi

500 being your goal, that charger will be plenty. try a 2.95 pulley, it should put you over 500 easy

Well I am pretty much at 500 rwhp with stock heads but with blower cams, 3.125" pulley, stock mainfold at 15 psi and 9.5 compression. So to answer your question yes, with your heads you won't need a small pulley. If you got fuel system you could reach high 500 no problem.

After doing some research I think so too. I was considering going with the 2.85 8 rib. I mean, if down the road I ever want more than what I'm at it really isnt hard to take the blower off and send it in for the upgrade. Do you guys think the 2.85 8 rib will put me in the 15psi range?

Generally each pulley size smaller is 1-2 psi. I am at 15 you are going 2 pulley sizer smaller so you will be in that 14-16 range. Your heads will make your car breathe much more efficient yielding less boost but more power with less strain on your motor. If you have headers that is good for another psi reduction.

After talking to yet more people, I have decided to send the blower in but just for the SI trim upgrade, i have heard great things about this upgrade. I'm thinking the SI trim with the 2.95 8 rib pulley
