Default 2013 Mustang V6 Twin Turbo Build

Hey everyone, this is a personal build of mine, I've turned my garage into a fab shop and figured this would be a good first project. I'm looking to create a very responsive and street demolishing setup. Here's some details:

Twin Garrett T28 Ball-Bearing turbos (S15 silvia turbos)
65lb Injectors
Custom water to air intercooler setup
50mm BOV
Tuned via Diablosport Intune (only option at this point)

The procharger kit for this car puts down 425whp on 8psi, I'm looking to do much better than that, only time will tell. I'm in the very beginning stages of the build, I'm waiting for a few more things to come in before I get really heavy into it. I'll be posting very detailed and frequent pics of the entire build for everyone to follow along.

Now, for the intro pics:

Forgive me for asking but arent you worried about voiding the warranty on a car that still has paper plates on it? If not....what bank did you rob so I can go rob it too...

Buying outright is cool and all, but it has nothing to do with voiding the warrenty.

That being said, I'm all for inovative V6 power adder builds. Why did you opt for twins instead of a single?

I really prefer to do all of my own work anyhow...

I originally was going to go big single but I do plan on making more of these and a single would've required too much customization to make it fit. The twins I've picked out are going to be super responsive and are capable of 600hp. I also like the symmetry and more simplistic fabrication and install that I've designed.

Very cool goodluck with the build. Warranty is for non car enthusiasts or dailys. I cancelled mine at 5,000 miles. Sitting at 50,000 now with no issues.

Looks good man.

Why air to water? Packageing?

Where are you planning mounting the turbos?

Whats the compression and redline of the 6cyl in the mustang?

What kind of pump gas psi are you planning on running?

Cool project, sure to put down solid numbers.

Sounds like it's going to be awesome.. Why the T28? Kind of a small turbo for your goals.. What are the plans for the internals?

I chose water to air because in my experience they perform much better than traditional air to air. They cool the air to much lower temps at a faster rate for one. If you've ever worked with aluminum then you'll know how quickly it heats up. Now, with that in mind, what will cool that aluminum faster, putting it in front of a fan or running it under water? The fan will take several minutes to even get the material cool enough to touch whereas the water will cool it down to ambient within seconds. Another reason is on average a standard air to air intercooler will have an average of 2-3psi of pressure drop, the water to air systems I use only have 0.2 psi of pressure drop. And yes, it will also allow for simpler install and a lot less piping.

The turbos are going to be midmounted

I'm unsure of the actual compression ratio although I'd think it's probably in the 10:1 area. The redline is 7k

I plan to only run 8-10 psi on pump gas.

These aren't traditional sized t28s that garret offers. The t28 I'm using is from a newer model Nissan Silvia offered in Japan. The turbo is originally mounted to a low compression 2.0l 4 cylinder and makes 300whp relatively easy. So the way I've figured based on my displacement, compression, and efficiency range of this engine, a pair of these should spool fast enough to make a supercharger jealous and make the power I'm shooting for pretty easy.

I plan to keep the internals stock, this kit has a production future so I'm keeping it safe enough to be reliable on the factory motor.
