Default Gear question

I'm still learning so could someone answer this question. What are the pros and cons of switching from the stock 3.55s to either the 3.73? or 4.10s on a 2006 GT.

Also any help on my previously post question would help (help with Steeda Pulley). In reguard to that question. I've read the 4.6L in internally balanced and the pulley is only a dampener, so why would an extra spacer on the bolt matter all that much.

Thanks

since you have 3.55 standard, don't even bother with 3.73, you won't notice that much of a difference. you'll still feel a difference, but not much. 4.10 will make you accelerate soooo much faster. it'll jack your RPMs up by like, what, 400RPM?

the higher numerically, the lower the gear.

the lower the gear , the more leverage you have, but you lose top end from it.

trust me, it's well worth it, since you don't typically cruise around at 140 around town.

making a 2 step jump, like 3.55-4.10 would "feel" like you just added about 50-75 hp to the car.
