i know this will sound like a newbe but i was wonderig if i have nitrous on my 96 gt auto with a window switch. can i basicaly turn it on and use it through the entire 1/4 mile start to stop or not. also i have heard not to spray in o/d is that true

 

depends on other mods and your tires...you may spin thru 1st if you use it the whole 1/4 mile. if the window switch has a 1st gear lockout, then yes use it the whole 1/4 definitely. and yes...NEVER spray in o/d. unless you want a new car.

what gears do you have? w/ 3.08's and an aod i wouldn't.....get the r's up a bit first.

i sprayed my aod '90 lx 'vert (15.10's NA) from the hole and all the way on a zex dry 100 kit. it ran 13.60's

my 5-speed cars, i full throttle shift on the juice and it's all good. launch from the hole always, but i have 4.10's and r's climb plenty fast enuff.
