I'm really considering the boost cooler from snow. It is better then an intercooler I would think, and much cheaper.

I have Snow Performance Stage 2 kit with dual nozzles. It allows me to run more boost and more timing on pump gas without detonation.

i have the mr. freeze kit. works great. hoping to see near 500rwhp now that the methanol kit is on and im running more boost. just waiting for my pms so i can lean it out (running off the chart rich right now) and will also tune it for more total timing

if the answer is anything other than "youll blow your motor" ill rpobably end up getting a kit.

LOL! Anything is possible. You could be racing a stock motor and blow it up.


Now correct me if I am wrong, the freeze kit has no pump and uses only the boost to push the fluid. Is this correct? I was talking to someone yesterday and he told me that. I mean, I don't know how the nozzle works, but it seems to me that is would need a little more pressure than that to create a nice mist. Not familiar w/ the Freeze kit I guess that's why. Def sounds like it works differently from the Snow kit.

if your relying on the methanol and for whatever reason the meth stops flowing, you run a huge risk of blowing the motor. to run the methanol you have to lean the injectors out so you dont run rich. so if the methanol stops flowing your intake temps go up, your engine will lean and with high boost and timing and low octane fuel....BOOM! happens. if you have your car dyno tuned it can be set up to check intake temps, if the temps get hot becaues you run out of methanol, the pc can lower timing and richen the car but that has to be burnt onto a chip and then place on the ecu.
the mr. freeze kit has no pump or injector. the mr freeze kit uses boost pressure to pressurize the bottle and open a valve. the methanol is sprayed directly at (in a stream) the impeller of the sc or turbo. the impeller is spinning over 30,000rpm (estimate) and when the methanol hit it, it is instantly automized. it takes a long time to run out of the methanol but it does depend on how much your on the gas. i dont boost a lot on the street so i went 2-3 months and only used 1/8th of a gallon. i would expect about 1 full minute of methanol out of a tank and the tank i have is a little more then 1/2 gallon i think. thats an estimate tho because it doesnt really come out that fast
