Default Question about your exhaust

Hey guys!

So, I am pretty much sold on y'all's exhaust for my 2014 3.7 (part number 421145) based off of sound quality and bang for your buck. I believe I talked to a rep on these forums about the difference between the types of stainless used, but would y'all be able to tell me more about the specific construction of the axlebacks? Could you explain about the 3 year limited warranty as well? Also, I've looked everywhere maybe i'm just missing it, but what is the diameter of the stainless tips?

I apologize for all these minute questions, but even $500 is a big cash outlay for me and I just want to make sure I make the right choice. I've heard nothing but good things about this product, and I can't wait to make a purchase in the near future!

The 11-14 axleback is made from 409 and 304 stainless steel. The tips are a chrome flashed 304 stainless which is the higher grade, it will stay nice a shine up easier. The rest is made from 409 stainless, which when comparing the two will show a little more scale but regardless its still a stainless steel and will not rust through like standard steel. The exhaust tips are a 4' diameter.

Thanks for the quick reply Kyle. I know this sale won't make or break y'all in the end, but it really helps me a ton. I have one more question, if that is alright. I understand that the muffler design is pretty much straight through, would you mind explaining that engineering to me? Is it close to I guess between a glasspack and a standard muffler design?

It's going to be a straight through design with a perforated tube that does not have packing material around it.

Thanks for all the advice Kyle! You and the guys over at AM made this decision very easy. I'm looking forward to putting them on my car Friday and giving a great review!
