I was thinking about getting black rims (in the far far future), but after looking at these pics I can defenitely tell that the grey is the way to go because Black ones are too dark to show the details.

If you go with the Foose wheels or something like the Shelby Razors, I like the gray or gunmetal painted models. They are dark enough to keep a mean look, but don`t lose detail like a black wheel can. They are a great middle ground color that works with all the different "silver" factory paint colors and black. I especially like the darker silver or gunmetal wheels on an alloy car. A perfect match IMO.

For me though only black will do. I`m doing a black theme with my car. What I callblackety black. Black car, black (charcoal) interior, black billet fuel door, black shorty antenna, dark tint and black wheels. Except I`m going with a totally black wheel. The Steeda Pentar in black. I want as mean a look as I can get. I`m going to name the car "Black Death" and I want people to actually fear the car. Almost like a Darth Vador look.

As you can see. They are a pretty straight forward looking wheel. Not a lot of detail to get washed out with the totally black coloring. Although the lug nuts will be chrome and the center caps have the blue Steeda logo.

Which do you guys think looks better on this stang the black on black or the black with the silver wheels?
Post comments or opinions.
Hi kalel001,

I rather like the look of the Coddington Junkyard Dogs with the old school finish. This is a classic '60's racing wheel look updated justas the S197GTis whichreflects the Mustang's long racing heritage. The old school finishgives you the look of the old magnesium cast center section race wheelscomplete with a traditional polishedlip rim.

This classic mag wheel designis close but I'mreallyjustshowing you the finish of the center section here.

This is the right wheel for the car IMO. Add the old school finish and BAM! on a black car pure sex!
