HOW-TO: Lowering springs install

RE: HOW-TO: Lowering springs
yeah you can install the system yourself.. via my instructions.. but on the plus side... your going to be able to install your springs without the spring compressor because after you set the top plate on the spring. your body weight pushing down on it to install the top nut is more then enough with the aftermarket spring
note* dont try and remove the stock system with out a compressor.. the spring is very long when unloaded you will break soemthing lol ( i mean a bone or a few teeth lol)
for the camber kit, its just a bolt with a lobe on it. of the 2 lower strut bolts you replace the upper of the 2 with the camber bolt... (it will take a few minutes to figure out which way is better to install it.... like towards the front or the other way and how to adjust)
what you could do if you dont want to get an alignment done.. would be to do it yourself haha basically after you all set and done. lower your car roll it back 5 feet, and then roll it forward back to it previous positions, and take a small handlevel and put it against the rim.. try and get it as verticle as possible, but keep in mind.. little negative camber is a good thing.. not enough to eat tires but enough that you cant see it by eye, but you can see it on the level... it will keep your car straight on the highway...
but i really recomend an alignment, its only 60$ lol (around here anyways)
OHH AND I REALLY RECOMEND DRIVING YOUR CAR AROUND A WEEK BEFORE GETTING THE ALIGNMENT DONE, IT ALLOWS YOUR SPRINGS TO SET
lol

RE: HOW-TO: Lowering springs
Does anyone know the torque specs for the big nut ontop of the struts?
I took the stock springs out without using a compressor, but if you've never done something like this then i wouldn't recommend it. I also had two people which helped a lot!
There is not grove for the rear springs, not on the top or the bottom mount. I even took the top cushion out and it's completely flat.
