Default New wheels and tires

Ordered them Saturday night (yay for impulse buys with tax refund money) and tirerack had them to me by Wednesday. It wasn't really an impulse buy, as I had these in my TR wishlist for about 1.5 months. Specs in sig. Before and after pics here.

Very Nice. I've been looking at those wheels too. Did you get the whole set (wheels & tires mounted and balanced) from Tire Rack?

Got the whole package from TireRack. Was kind of important that I did that. The recess for the lugnuts is extremely narrow and requires a very thin walled socket. I didn't have one but tirerack included one with the lugnuts.

Those thin walled sockets are to help prevent someone with a normal sized wrench from taking off your lugs/wheels as it is to big to fit.Wont stop a pro but that along with locks are just something to slow um down ya know? Most kids/small time thugs dont keep the thin sized socket or even know about them. Nice choice with wheels, car stands out much more now, sorta like base model before, custom now.

Congrats

Heh, if by 'sorta' you meant 'exactly' like base model. I'm not sure if I'm going to make any appearance mod's (other than the wheels) until I get done with everything else. I guess some people would argue that my planned Eibach pro kit springs are mostly an appearance mod. The Loudmouth's and tints get me enough attention from the cops here. I live in TX now but the car is registered in FL, so the tints are too dark all around and I don't have the 'legal tint' sticker that is required. The crap thing is I've been pulled over more than once because they think I'm some wannabe ricer w/ illegal tints. That's when I enjoy flashing the FL license and military officer ID. Now I need Uncle Sam to give me a bigger pay raise so I can afford a decent suspension setup.
