Default Whats the better suspension package?

I was wondering what the better suspension package was, the Saleen package for about $750 - $800, the Ford Racing Package for about $1200, or an Eibach package for about $1200. Or should I do a combo of different things?

Get a set of Steeda Ultra Lite springs and Tokico D-Spec struts and dampers. Your suspension will be much better than the kits. You can do a search and read many of the suspension posts.

stay away from the Saleen - it rides like crap. They include only a front bar which is lame because that only makes the inherent understeer these cars have WORSE. I have ridden in a Roush and wasn't impressed, especially for the price. You can put together a much better set-up for less money. Poke around on here and you'll hear the same tune from everybody.

This thread contains the answer from teh suspension god himself, CrazyAl explains each component and which he considers best. Most people completely agree with his recommendations too. BMR makes some of the best compenents on the market today and the Tokicos are probably the shocks of choice for our cars. There is not a complete package out there that can really put it all together perfectly.

So the Tokico's are a definite must. Forgive me if you guys have done this before (which I am sure you have) but if you could make a list of the different suspension components that I should get, with approx. prices, I would really appreciate it. I should mention, that I am thinking of putting 20"wheels on the car as well as the Cervinis or Saleenbodykit, so I am also quite concerned with ride height (especially with the Cervinis), I don't want the car to be so low to the ground that it takes me five minutes to go over one speed bump. Thanks in advance.

Here is some good reading:

https://mustangforums.com/m_1696246/tm.htm

https://mustangforums.com/m_2184423/tm.htm

That first thread contains a huge post that describes all the suspension parts in detail, including brand preferances.

The second thread discusses the various suspension kits in detail and also has my suggested "kit".

I've alsobeen told that H&R and Eibach make really good suspension components for Mustangs, anyone have these or know how good they are?

Ive always used Eibach/Tokico Illumina combo. I already had a super fat front sway bar (1 7/8"). The ride is firm, but doesnt rattle your teeth. I tried using sensatracs with 2" lowering springs(intrax) on my DD (94probe GT), and OMFG the ride is SOOO firm even over the littlest bumps itll rattle your teeth, but it hugs the road like no other.

I did some shopping the other day for componets that CarzyAl talks about.

For springs, D-specs, adj pan hard, adj LCA's, camber bolt it was less than $1200 bucks. That included an alignment.

The other parts: LCA relocate brackets, UCA, pan hard bracket will be purchased on the next go around. I wanted to keep the geometry correct and improve 60' times. Besides if I bought it all at one time I wouldn't have something in the future to play with.
