I have a set of aftermarket wheels that are 17X8 with 36mm offset . I am wanting something in a 9" wheel so I can run a 275 or wider tire . I like the way the offset I have now looks on the car and if I am thinking right they are out around 3/8 past the 45mm factory offset . If I was to go with a 9" wheel what offset would I need to bring a 275 tire out to the same place my 8"ers are with the 36mm offset

 

With a 9 inch wheel 24mm offset will give you what you are looking for.
