BMR upper strut bar question?

I am thinking about getting the BMR upper strut barthat fitsa V8 with a engine cover, but I was wondering this upper srut bar will work with a Pro Charger due to where the air cleaner is located.

that's a lot of weight to add to the front end for minimal gains......

Its been stated many times that this is mostly cosmetic and doesnt really add any stiffening on the front end. Money can be better spent but it does look good!
