Default Steeda Sway Bar for Convertible

Does any convertible owner have experience with this sway bar (w/end links)?
How does it fit? I have heard that some of the aftermarket bars rub against the extra bracing that a convertible has.

I've been searching for an answer to the same question.

I emailed Spohn Performance and they say their rear sway bar fits a 2005+ convertible.

ORIGINAL: johnpagenola

The Spohn sway bar is 1" or 25mm. The stock vert bar is only 18mm and the stock coupe is 20mm. The Steeda is 22mm or 7/8".

In looking over Steeda's info it appears that if the heavy duty mounts are ordered that it will fit the vert. It is $360 dollars plus shipping.

I have not mounted the Steeda sway bar on my vert, but I have seen it done on other verts. You need the Steeda billet aluminum bar mounts because they are longer than stock GT hardtop mounts and have a bushing diameter large enough to put the Steeda sway bar in.
