Default LCA bolt question

Hello all,

I did try searching several times, and didn't find what I'm specifically looking for so please don't flame. I am going to be replacing my LCA's, and was wondering about reusing the factory hardware. Is this ok to do? Or should I get new hardware from Ford? I was looking at the BMR combination adjustable ones. Any heads up on what to expect during the install would be appreciated.

Thanks guys,

Joe

Of course as luck would have it, the search didn't return anything but the scroll button did. Little did I know that the bottom of the page contained a similar question with the answers I was looking for. Sorry for wasting space here.

Thanks again.

Joe

Many will say if the bolts were removed once they can be used one more time if they can be torqued down properly and fully. I read on here and in the shop manual that they should be replaced after one use only and Ford would be the place to get them for a reasonable price. The fasteners just cant hold the torque required (sometimes)after reusing so I feel it would be best to just replace. JMO
