Default How low can you go...

How low can you go without having to replace the dampers? Seems like they could bottom out. I know a lot of folks change the springs to get better handling, but I am easy to please when it comes to that; I just want a lower stance for the looks. However, I don't want to down-grade, either. A set of Eibach Sportline springs is at the top of my list right now.

Get the sportlines, change the shocks/dampers tho. Also you may want lower control arm brackets, adjustable panhard, and swaybar. IMHO...

It is always recommended to change your stock shocks & struts when installing any type of lowering spring. The stock Ford Motorcraft shocks & struts have really poor valving and leak constantly! The stock units are not designed to handle any type of increased spring rating or a lower ride. If you don't plan on changing your stock shocks & strutsmost suspension experts will suggest going with progressive rate springs.
