Default Ok last drag tire question !!

I have narrowed it down to a M/T tire for my second set of wheels for the track only.

Do I go with the ET Streets, better grip but not the safest, track is about 30 miles away roundtrip?

Or do I get the ET Street Radials, not as good a grip but basically a regular tire except in the rain ?

17x8 wheels 26.5 x 11.5 x 17LT for ET Streets or 275/40/17 for the ET Street Radials

thanks for your support !!

I use the ET Streets and drive them to the track at 20psi, and take my time. They can be a handful at speed. My track is also 30 miles away, so it's just a matter of being cautious. They hook like mad though, and have given me 75+ runs even with the highway drive.

Nonetheless, after the Streets wear out I'm trying the M&H Roadmaster drag radial. Other forums have threads where folks say they hook great and have great everyday wear. They're 325 series and fit a 17x9 inch wheel....
