Soooo...how do you get all of that "air" out of your tires before you fill them with nitrogen?

RE: Nitrogen filled Tires?
Pretty much every aircraft tire I've ever dealt with was serviced exclusively with nitrogen. When I've asked why, the answer I always got was the same...
1. Nitrogen is more temperature stable than compressed air (think how cold it gets at 30,000+ feet and how hot the tires get on landing).
2. Fire suppressant in the event of a fire, versus the possibility of compressed air acting as an accelerant.
Not really sure that these two reasons would have much if any applicability to a street driven car.

RE: Nitrogen filled Tires?
I for own a tire garage...and I have read all the reports...and seen the tests that have been done...and I can tell you right now, it is a scam. Yes, it is better for different temperatures...but were talking about temperatues that OUR tires would never see...the fact of the matter about how it doesnt leak...if someone can explain how that would be physically possible, id like to hear it...because no matter how big or small the leak, whatevers in the tire will leak out...the pressure inside the tire is greater than outside thus meaning it will release the nitrogen or air into the atmosphere to equate to equal pressure.
There have been tests compiled comparing the two, and these tests were done on regualr everyday cars and the results, on 3 different cars and tires, showed that paying the extra money (whatever they decide to charge) results in a 1-2% more nitrogen count...and again, that means nothing...because nitrogen is already prevelant in air anyways.
People will believe whatever they want...but in the end, the reality is that one street cars, it makes no difference...and heavy duty use tires, or tires that experiece rapid and dramatic changes in temperatures (aircraft) I may believe it...
