Default new wheels

Help I cant decide what size wheels to put on my o5 gt. I am having a Hellion turbo installed next week and because of the way the pipes run they might scrap if I lower the car. I need some traction out back. Im afraid if I go with 18 or 19inch wheels I will have too much gap between the tire and the wheel wells. I know I cant be the only one who has been through this. What are people using that dont lower the car?

With the 18" and 19" you will have less fender gap, that is, if you purchase the same or larger diameter tire.

Remember, the larger circumfrence tire/rim combo you buy, the less torque you will put to the ground..Well, I used the wrong words...You are screwing with gearing..

I'd stick with either 17" or 18"

Keep the same tire diameter and going to a larger wheel should be fine, you won't change your gearing.

So keep it to 27" and you can put 18, 19, or 20 on.

I would choose an 18 inch wheel as there are some many tires you can choose from and they are generally cheaper depending on how wide of a tire you put on.

With the turbo, you need a 285 wide at least, perferably a 305 but they may require some rear end fine tuning.
