Best Suspension Mod for newly whippled stang?
I am installing a whipple HO in January on my 07 GT. For the time being I am stuck with the stock perilli's. Eventually I will run either a 255-50-17 Nitto 555 or some 265-55-17 tires.
I know traction is going to be an issue in the lower gears, but I want to avoid wheel hop. From the reading I have done I should be able to get away with just LCA's right? Car money will be tight for a while with the blower and all.
I am looking for something that is quiet, easy maintence and not too expensive.
I was thinking about getting the BMR LCA's from Brenspeed.
Is this right for me and is it going to keep from havingwheel hop.
Thanks, the input is appreciated.

I am running BMR LCA's and the are fine. I originally went with Steeda LCA's but the Steeda bushings squeaked a lot. My BMR's don't squeat at all. Theother suspensionmod you should go with to reduce wheel hop, assuming no other suspension mods, is a UCA.
After the LCA's and the UCA I would get a new panhard bar and rear sway bar and the rear will lauch so well you will have to hold on when slamming the gas! Oh tires will help as well in the hooking off the line instead of spinning....FTW! J
dsied2,
I notice in your sig that you have the CHE k-member brace but the BMR LCA's. I was gonna go with the CHE for both.
Big difference between CHE and BMR LCA's?
Thanks!

Just to update this thread, I called BRENSPEED and talked to Dave. I was planning on running non-adjuastable lowers and an adjustable upper.
But he said that an udjustable upper has very little adjustment and is almost useless. He said I was much better off with adjustable lowers and a fixed upper.
Who am I to argue so I ordered the Adjustable LCA's and Fixed UCA, both BMR. I will put them on at the same time as the Blower.
Thanks,
