Default Wheel Question

I've tried using the search, but couldnt find exactly what i'm looking for...

Can someone please tell me if this will work...
I'm planning on buying some wheels and tires - here are the specs...

FRONT:

19x8 35mm offset w/225/40r19 BFG

REAR:

19x9.5 20mm offset w/285/35r19 BFG

I'm worried about the offset, and i dont want the rims to stick out any further than the fenders. Does anyone have these specs, or similar. Will this cause rubbing on the fenders??

Any info is appreciated.

Default RE: Wheel Question

You will be putting a narrower tire on the front by 10mm. The wheel will sit 10mm out from the stock wheel but with the narrower tire it will only be 5mm closer to the wheel well, so it will look nearly identical to your stock wheel in regards to how much closer to the wheel well it is.

You will be putting a wider tire on the rear by 50mm. The wheel will sit 6mm farther away from the inner wheel well but stick out 44mm but with the wider tire you will be even to the stock tire in regards to how close it is the inner wheel well and suspension bits. However, the tire will stick out 50mm or 2 inches fron its location now and will probably stick out from the wheel well edge by about 0.5 inches. Also the rear tire has a smaller diameter than stock and will be 1% slower on the speedo which is not significant though.

I think it will look weird to have the front tire tucked in and the rear tire sticking out. Those wheels you spec sound like Porsche wheels as those are the typical tire sizes but the rear tire is a bit narrow for Porsche.
