Been looking at wheels that are for 05+ and I have noticed that when you get wider wheels with the supposed 05+ correct offset that the width of the wheel is split equally between how much closer it is to suspension stuff and the wheel well edge.

I have noticed that if you put a 99-04 wheel on an 05+ mustang that the added with almost always only goes towards the wheel well edge and it not closer to the suspension stuff.

If you put an 99-04 wheel on an 05+ mustang will this change the suspension geometry and how will it affect tire wear, etc?
