IMHO - running DRs on the street is fine... as long as ur careful and know what to expect if the weather is less than perfect. In fact... when the weather is good and you have a higher HP car, your safer with the DRs. I found that with the stock tires I would break the rear end lose all the time & 1st and 2nd. The DRs just hook and stay planted.
