Your car will also be 1/2" shorter and your wheels wells will look even more empty than before.

Just a point of clarification your car will only be 1/4" lower....the 275/40x18 are 1/2" smaller in diameter which translates to 1/4" lower in radius (aka ride hight)....

[sm=closed.gif] You could try 285/40/18 all around, it shouldn't rub up front if the GT500 wheel offset is 45mm.
Did you get your MT1s and 285's yet?
Nope. My plan is to do the following: Get some cheapo 255/50/17 summer tires to run on the stock rims, add a double adj panhard bar, CHE panhard brace, double adj UCA and either fixed or adj poly/rod mix and probably vogtland GT500 springs and koni adj. I will get most of the parts from Same strano. I just gotta wait for all this snow to melt here in the great mid west.

I've run a few HPDEs with 275/40s all the way around and all I can say is that they are great. The car just seems to have limitless grip(okay so I can brake it loose if I want). It is also nice that I can rotate my tires...which I need to do.

Excellent info, since I've already ordered the 275/40/18's for all 4 corners.
