Yeah 275/40/17 is what I run at the strip on the stock 17's. I really dont recommend driving far on them thats for sure. I always swap mine out at the track.

The 274/40 Mickey's will fit on the stock rim. They are a little short so they look a little strange. Another option might be the 275/50 M&H's. They are the same width but a little taller.I personally have not run these but they do get good reviews. I am going to run them this year, as a matter of a fact they will be deilvered today.

I'm not bashing the Mickey's either. They worked great last year. I could do a 5K dump after a quick burnout and not spin. At least until the temps got into the 40's then they required a pretty long burnout but any DR would. I don't know what the price of the Mickey's are at Lethal, did you check Summit? That's where I got them but then I'm only a 1/2 hour away from them so I don't have to pay shipping.

Anybody else run the M&H's? I was also looking into those. If I went with MT, I would stick to 275/40/17...

I believe Moosestang is/was running M&H's. I'm sure of you PM him he will tell you all about them. I'm also sure he'll tell you to not run them on wet roads. He had a bad experience with that. Mickey's would have been the same result.

I was also considering Hoosier's 275/40/17. How does that tire compare to a MT radial or M&H radial...?

You should seriously look into the M&H 275/50-17. Taller sidewall than the 45 so you get more hook and it sits "tighter" on the wheel. Nowhere near as much sidewall bulge as the 275/40 M/T's have.

Here ya' go............. http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?...on=show_detail

The M&H is only 8.8 tread width. Too skinny!

Give it a try......voice of experience. I've seen it hook low 11 second cars at 18 lbs of air.

Are you talking about the M&H's?

Mine got delivered yesterday, they don't look any skinnier than the Mickey's.

What about hoosier drag radials? I found a hoosier drag radials off of lethalperformance.com 275/40/17 that I was considering buying.
