So I'll be assembling the suspension on my car this weekend (as long as the snow doesn't drift into the garage [:'(])

I'd like to pick your brains as to what constitutes a good alignment? What questions should I be asking to figure out if the shop knows their business? What should I ask them to do? What facts/figures should I have in hand when I go in?
