Default Positive Offset wheels

I am considering buying 18X9 wheels that are deep dish. Will the positive offset make a difference in handling or will they put extra load on the front suspension? Any advice will be great! Thanks

Default RE: Positive Offset wheels

The deep-dish wheels are not necessarily a positive off-set. If you look closely, you will generally see that the 'spokes' of the wheel face are curved back toward the car and cause a 'dish' look that exposes a larger front edge on the outside of the wheel. Don't look at the wheel to determine the off-set, check what the manufacturer says about it. Unless you go with a very narrow wheel, you are not going to get a + off-set wheel on a Stang.
