Default Steeda Heavy Duty Front Upper Strut Mounts with stock struts?

Can these be used with stock struts? I've already had my OEM mounts replaced once and they are clunking again.

Thanks

my are stock strut mounts are clunking like crazy, I can't stand the noise. I will be replacing them with the updated ford strut mounts. I was thinking about going with these steedas, but I have heard that they do not solve the clunking problem as they use the some of the same style parts as the defective style oem ones. Has anyone else heard this, or know if its true or not?

Had the TSB done a year ago. The clunking is back and as loud as ever.

I've been running the Steeda HD strut mounts for over a year now with a fair bit of AutoXing and general abuse on Washington and Seattle roads. No clunking. And the camber adjustment doesn't hurt either

From my experience - its a quality piece and I would highly recommend it. That said, I would also recommend getting new struts while you're at it. Might as well at this point, and they do make such a difference.

Thanks for the input. I need to find out the best price for these. New OEM mounts will cost me $120. If I can find the Steeda mounts for around $200,I'd be real happy.

There are at least 3 good camber plates: Steeda, J&M and MM. Any of them would work out well. I guess KW also makes some but I couldn't find any info on them.

I just bit the bullet and bought the Steeda's. Live.com is running a promo where you can get 30% off of some items bought on ebay via the Buy It Now option. Long story short, I pay $300 right now, and get ~$90 back in 2 months. Steeda's for $210.
