so im thinking of unbolting the strut assembly and jacking up the car and then putting the brace in...when i got my wheel alignment all my wheels lined up except the driver side...it was -2.3 so im thinking that might be the problem, if this works im hoping it corrects my camber too

WTF!!! Dude that brace should drop right on. Yours must be damaged or bent or something. Take it back where you bought it and swap it for another one. A strut tower brace certainly isn't going to correct your camber.
