Default Quick tire question

I just purchased some new iForged 19" wheels, 19x9 and 19x10. I am trying to decide what size tires to purchase. I have found a deal on 4 x 275/40-19s. How will putting the same size tire on different width wheels affect the overall tire height? Will it be noticeable or have any adverse effects ? Thanks.

The front to back difference will be minor, if at all, and won't be at problem. Pulling the front tire in 1/2" from each side shouldn't affect tire height, at least not noticeably. And the ABS can handle minor differences if needed.

19's are hard to get in a variety of sizes. glad you found some that suit you. I'm running 275/40/18's all around. It's one bad azz look.

I have the same wheel sizes. I run:
275/35/19 Front
285/35/19 Rear
The fronts are slightly shorter than the rear but overall everything is very close to factory diameter. Rides nice too. Kumho Ecsta SPT from Tirerack.com

What is your stock tire size? With the 40 series you'll probably need to adjust your computer so your speedometer is correct. You'll need a tuner for that.

Here's a link to compare tires:

Stock tire size is 235/55-17 which equals 27.17 inches. The 275/45-19s are 27.66 inches, so it will be about half an inch taller. Yah, I have been using that tire size calculator alot lately. It says my speedo will be 1.8% too slow. I was planning on getting a tuner soon, anyways. Here is a quick photo preview of the wheels. I will post more as soon as I get them on my car. They are iForged Imolas in hyper gunmetal with polished lips.
