Default Suspension thunking in 2010?

A month ago I took delivery of a 2010 GT. This is my third S197 GT. I had a 2006 GT convertible and a 2008 GT coupe. Neither the 06 or the 08 had the suspension thunk others have complained about. So I really don't have first hand knowledge of what the the noise in the 05-09s sounds like. My 2010 has a thunk in the suspension going over small bumps and expansion gaps on the highway. It did this since I took delivery of it and I assumed it was tire or road noise and not the suspension thunk. The car is completely stock. I am thinking the noise in my car is the same and the noise the 05-09s made. Anyone else have this in their 2010?

Uh-oh. The re-birth of the thunk. This could be another very long thread. I hope it's not the same, cause that would mean Ford doesn't give a rats a$$ about fixing known issues.

Ok, guess I"ve been out of the loop for a while. What is the thunk issue we're talking about here?

There's a TSB on it. They redesigned the upper strut mounts. I had the thunk, had the TSB done - no more thunk. I hope Ford is using the new redsigned upper strut mounts on the '10.

My 2010 has it when going over speed bumps slowly haven't heard it at any other time such as slow speed turns but everytime I drive over the speed bumps on my road it sounds like the front left is creaking very annoying I'm gonna check out my front sway bar bolts and see if my local dealer has a tsb for the 2010's yet

Creaking is not thunking. I had the creaking for awhile - only over speed bumps, only in warm weather. I believe it is a control arm bushing. It's gone now - hope you have the same luck. The thunking literally sounds like "loose lumber" as described in the TSB - like there's a loose 2X4 under the hood that bounces around when you hit bumps.
