Default Drag Radials to complement my LCAs?

I have a normally aspirated manual 2006 GT w/3:55 gears and LCAs that spins like crazy upon launch (no hopping, just spinning excessively). Based on what i've read here I think I need to launch at lower RPMs (2500) and move to one of the following tires:

Nitto 555r
Nitto 05
Mickey Thompson et Street radials
Falken Azenis
others?

I currently have 18" Razor wheels (18x9" width) but would consider buying new wheels for whatever drag tire i buy (either 17" or 18" and i'm guessing i may need at least 10" width). My car is mostly a garage queen so treadwear isnt a big issue.

What would you guys do if you were me?
