Default Lowering Springs

Any of you guys going to drop your 2010 stang? I dont want to drop mine on the ground or anything, I just want to fill in some of that wheel well gap. I dont want to spend $1400 on a total suspension kit. Anyone else looking to do this or have done it? If so what are you going to go with?

I would love to drop mine about .5" but I have yet to find anyone selling another higher than 1". I am probably just going to end up leaving it stock height and get some struts and dampers along with sways.

I have a 2007 GT500 that I dropped with Ford Racing springs. Dropped the rear by 1.5" and the front just under 1". I'm very pleased with the results. I did install an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle and camber plates to allow alignment of the front end.

Will getting the FRPP lowering springs void/alter your warranty in any way?

No, as long as ford installs them you will actually get either a 1 or 3 year warranty depending on your mileage.

I have the FRPP M-5300-K lowering springs. I had the front end lowered at Ford as there is some work involved there. Pascal did the rear-end. When I had the fronts done the dealer looked at the rears and said all was well so I am covered under the Ford warranty still.

I still have stock shocks and struts with the FR lowering springs - the ride is firmer and more controlled and IMO outstanding. I intend to upgrade the shocks/struts someday, but not right now.

Hi Wilkinda, Whats your overall opinion of them? Why did you choose them over the m-5300-p springs? Did u get an adjustable Pan Hard bar due to lowering the car? Thanks in advance.
