need help before purchacing springs
so the deal is im in the military stationed overseas and just bought a 2010 track pack. im getting stationed back stateside and my ride is waiting for me in san antonio tx. with this being said i was thinking about buying lowering springs so as soon as i get back i can get to work on my stang. ive never seen a track pack up close and personal. so i have 2 questions. does the track pack already sit lower than your standard gt, basically does it even need to be lowered? and 2nd question is how will lowering springs effect the track pack suspenion setup.
thanks

The trackpack car sits at the same height as the GT without the trackpack option. Does it need to be lowered.... That is a matter of opinion as I lowered mine cause the car looks like a 4 wheel drive sports car stock.
Lowering made the car feel better for handling but the ride gets upset more over bumpy roads. I am in process of getting Steeda Sport lowering springs and Koni StrT shocks and struts.

thanks for your reply. i am in the usaf currently working on c5s & c17s (engine troop) i got orders to san antonio for MTI duty. i was looking at h&r supersports. is 1.9rear and 1.7 front to much? they seem to be a popular spring but i dont want it to look tacky
S197 Handling section and I am sure Sam Strano and others more knowledgeable than I can assist you.
