just called my dealer fortunatley my car is still under warranty and they will replace the VENT as long as i take them the TSB number. will be taking it in next week and will update. it even includes a top off of fluid. hope they don't give me any slack for having to many mods under the car.

The TSB says that the problem exists from 2005 to 2010 and is dated Feb 12, 2010 so this appears to be a recent fix.

I'll crawl underneath after my first track day this season to see how mine looks.

just a quick update, took my car in on Friday and they had no problem fixing the "problem" they were unfamiliar with this problem, but were eager to replace the valve. 1st one the dealer has dealt with so they had to order the part should get it back on Wed.

funny thing was the tech states "man you must drive this car pretty hard", (hehehe) if he only knew!

will post pics soon.

sorry for the delay, finally needed to switch my DD wheels and tires for this weekends event. so took a pic of the new piece installed by the dealer.

looks like it will work like a catch can with a breather at the top of the balloon like tube.

Anyone happen to know what the thread size/pitch is for the axle breather? I'd like to fit a breather tank and instead of modding the breather, I'd like to fit the appropriate fitting to the axle
