It got renamed to the "Brembo Brake package". It includes 4-pot calipers up front, 19" wheels with summer only tires, suspension from the '10 GT500, etc.

But I'm thinking about it because pricing it out on the 10 it save me about a grand overall so I'm really leaning toward it. Not the biggest fan of the summer tires but they can be replaced with all season's after they are done so no big deal.
No it is a lot more comfortable on the road...honestly my last car was more setup for autocrossing than street use. The track pack is not that harsh (and i live in some of the crappiest roads in NJ). Other people have said it is comfortable enough for daily use.

But I can't wait for it to be warm to really see what these tires can do.

Thanks, thats good to hear. I remember how some bad some of those roads were out there when I lived there. Not quite as back as Michigan but still pretty bad in places, especially 206 and 130.

The track pack suspension is standard on the 2011s. It's optional on the V6 and called a "preformance package".

Hmmm, I've read where Ford is introducing(at a later date) a more evolved Track Pack with even stickier tires and perhaps with adjustable struts/shock settings over the Brembo Package. Who knows until we see it, right?

This is not true. A couple things were beefed up but it's not equal to "track pack" being standard. You need the brembo package + 3.73 rear end.

if it's available, my answer, in one word, would be "Yes"

I like good brakes, and the Brembo pkg. looks sweet, but I also don't want "summer" tires as I will drive the car on snow/salt-free winter days. (plus the roads are pretty chewed-up and I can see bending rims w/40 series tires)

I want to know if the 18" SVT wheels from Ford Racing (that clear the FRPP Brembo Kit) would clear the factory '11 Brembo option.

If I can't run 50-series tires that work all year (and don't cost $1500 to replace every 15K), I won't get the Brembo pkg.

What? I've never bent a rim and I haven't run 50 series tires since the early 80's.
You need a truck not a Mustang... do Mustangs come with 50 series tires?
