You need a truck not a Mustang... do Mustangs come with 50 series tires?

Guess you haven't driven in NYC or the back roads in the snow-belt after a cold snowy winter when the potholes are in season and the roads are chewed to ****.

FWIW, The stock tire on the GT is 235/50WR18, the 45 series are for the 19" wheel option and the 40 series for the Brembo/track-pack option.

Personally, I think the 18" wheel/tire looks better too.

Well I haven't lived in NJ in two years but I doubt anything changed.

Love that philosophy. I went and priced out a 2010 with the options I want because everything should be closely the same with the '11. Did one with and one without the Track Pack. The Track Pack creation was surprisingly cheaper, pretty well made the decision.

I lived in Manhattan, worked in Jersey and had a place in New Hamphire.People always worried about bending rims but never did. They did however bottom out or lose the front air dam...had a vette once.
