Default Looking for a BA suspension setup.

Well, I'm headed to Dallas Mustang next week, and I'm having the suspension, basically redone. I don't think I want to spend over 1,200. I know I'm getting new shocks and struts, lowering springs, panhard bar, camber plates, and possibly some chassis stiffening stuff like sway bars and maybe a tower brace. Vehicle is an 06 GT Auto daily driver, but looking for a little bit of cornering fun here after the upgrade. So what would you guys recommend? I've heard great stuff about Koni SRT.Ts, but the pricing on Tokiko D-Specs looks more attractive.

Again, daily driver, but wouldn't mind stiff cornering. Also looking for a sleek lowered look.

Also, I'm getting a 25% off discount the whole transaction.

Can anyone recommend a good setup?

Forget the strut tower brace unless you are looking at it only as an appearance item.

Koni STRT's are quite a bit less expensive than D-specs, couple hundred dollars or so. Were you thinking of the Koni Sports (aka "Yellows")?

"Sway bars" stiffen the car against roll, but do not stiffen the chassis itself. They are sort of like extra springs that only act when the car rolls or the suspension moves on only one side of the car. Mostly, you'd choose to replace them in order to shift the handling balance.

For mild lowering, the PHB and C-C plates shouldn't be necessary. For street use, the tower brace isn't.

Check out www.stranoparts.com - you ought to be able to put together a decent combination of STRT's, springs, and adjustable sta-bars. Call Sam.
