Need some opinions for 11 GT Lowered
Hi everyone, I posted this last night but I think it was not in the right section now that I see this one !
Just had the Eibach sportline lowering springs put on yesterday on my 11 GT, I am very happy with the rear esp since these things look like pick up trucks, but I think the front might be lower than I wanted it as far as how much the tires are tucked in, the drop on the PRO kit is 1.4 and the Sportline is 1.6 which wont make a huge diference, so I am kindda driving my self crazy here as what to do, I am thinking this as well, the profile of he stock tires are chunky too which is 45 on 19" wheels, would it be better if I changed the tires to a 40 profile ???
Any help would be great, just dont want to go crazy and start changing the springs all over again
Thanks a million

Thanks man,
well I an NOT a happy at all now because I spoke to a bunch of shops that told me the set up is the same as the 2010 if I just want to change the springs, also spoke to Roush and they told me the same since they are using the same springs that worked on the 2010.
When I spoke to Eibach they didnt have a car in to test yet, but I did message them on Facebook and they said they FIT JUST FINE.
Now I spoke to them this morning because the car was a little more of a "bouncy ride" than what I am used to, since I have used them in my 06 and my 2000 GTs and it did not feel like that at all, they have got their car in today and what I was told is that it will be a NEW set up and he does not think that what I have on will work.
Now I have to have them taken out this Saturday and most probably go with the Roush springs since they confirmed that their set up is good to go.

That sucks man I only asked because I know the new 5.0 weighs a bit more than the older 4.6 so I would assume they would have to do all new spring rates to compensate for the increase.
I got the same springs I know worked on my 2010 for my 2011 since the v6's stayed almost the same in weight with the overall gain thanks to a little bit more sound deadening the dual exhaust and 8.8 rear end I'll be sure to post pics and impressions once they are on it will be a big difference though since I'm doing tsw 20's at the same time

Are you going for looks or handling performance? Lowering the car more than 1.5" might do more harm than good. A low center of gravity is good for handling, but if the suspension travel is so small that you hit the bump stops, it will be much more unpredictable at the limit.
