Tokicos Going On - Any Tips?
Hey guys, got my Tokico D-Specs yesterday. Going to my local hobby shop on Saturday to put them in. As stated in the title, any tips (or tricks) for installing these? I've been over the instructions AND the Haynes manual and I'm pretty sure I know how this should go down, but I'm trying to get ready for any monkey-wrenches thrown my way.
I know about the spring compressor.
I also know about the notch in the struts where the bottom of the springs need to go.
Does the ABS sensor on the brake assembly need to come off, yes/no?
Anything else that could help me make this go as well as I would like it? Something I might have missed?
Thanks in advance!

When I put mine on, there was only one real surprise. When you're installing the nut at the top, the area to hold the shaft from turning while you're tightening the nut is on the threaded portion of the shaft. I ended up bending some of the threads, so the caps wouldn't go on. Luckily, I have a tap/die set, so I was able to chase the threads and straighten them out. I would suggest making sure you have a good fit, and put the wrench as far down on the notched portion to avoid putting any stress on at least the top couple of threads if possible.
Otherwise, real straight forward.
