Thank you for the compliment. I'm running on factory shocks/struts. You don't have to change them.

You certainly don't have to change the struts and shocks out.... but it ain't a bad idea. The stock stuff is meant for stock springs (taller, and generally softer) than the lowering springs. The shorter, stiffer springs need more rebound damping to control that higher rate in a shorter amount of travel.
Have a new car.. that's the best situation in which the stock dampers will work. And remember that not all stock dampers are the same. Brembo cars have upgraded (if not ideal) dampers vs. non 2011 Brembo cars which make them better able to deal with lowering springs--at least for a while.
You absolutely can run lowering springs with stock dampers, it just doesn't work as well, especially as the miles pile on. Eventually you'll want to upgrade, might not be right now.
