Tire Rotation = "floating" feeling
I recently rotated the tires on my 2010...and car seems to "float" from side to side....checked and nothing is loose....
19 P-Zero Nero...about 10K miles on tires
Any one got any insight to this...?
Thanks

Did you do the rotation or a shop?
I can only think of 3 things off the top of my head:
1) the shop let some air out. Check your pressure.
2) the tires are directional and they've been rotated improperly.
3) check that the wheels are seated and check the torque on the lug nuts.

Are the tires all worn fairly evenly across their treads?
How were they all rotated (RF→RR?, RF→LF?, RF→LR? . . . etc.)
Any idea what the front wheel camber setting is?
I'm also thinking about pressures . . .
Before rotating them, had you been running the front tires at a different inflation pressure than the rear tires?
Did the pressures end up being uneven or too high? Too low is only one possibility.

pressure was checked....
lugs were checked...
P-Zero Neros are not "directional" tires....as far as I know...no indication on sidewall...
did the rotation myself...followed manual's pattern for rotation....did not at first and "float" was way worse...but its still there...after correct rotation pattern
I guess I drive for a bit and see if it is a wear pattern issue...
Car tracks nice and straight most of the time...just seems to float a bit here and there...WEIRD

Are you sure it's not just tramlining? Rutted roads from truck traffic, even when you can't see the ruts, will make the car shift back and forth in the lane. Since you say "most of the time" and "here and there", I'm wondering if it's the car or the road surface.
Not sure if you ever found out the cause of this, but I just had my 2011 in for one last service before my warrenty ended and now it has a post rotation floating feeling. Did yours resolve it self? I do corner hard in mine so I figure it just needs to be broken back in, but your feed back on this would be greatly appreciated.
