Those types of camber bolts would be preferred although I'm not a big fan of slotting the strut mounting holes either. But it appears Ford is okay with it if they offer those types of camber bolts. IMO camber plates are the way to go.

I just installed my front springs today and also put in the J&M plates. The front springs dropped the car about 1.25 inches and I just felt better having the plates to adjust the alignment and provide better mounts for the struts. The install was extremely simple and clean. Nice plates in my opinion. Took the car for a ride - really nice! Here's a pic of the final results.
